St. John's Wort - Hypericum perforatum - Traditionally used for mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and wound healing (externally). Please be advised that it can take up to six weeks before noticing the effects. Externally known for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used for sores, cuts, minor burns, and abrasions. Can be used in the form of tea, tincture, salve, compress, or encapsulated.
Origin: Bulgaria/Croatia
Directions: Take up to 300 mg three times a day with food. It can be incorporated into beverages such as teas and smoothies.
