Organic Senna Leaf - Senna alexandrina - An FDA-approved over-the-counter plant commonly used as a laxative. It also has the added benefit of cleansing the blood and helping treat skin disease symptoms. Senna contains antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Senna is taken at night and works within 6-12 hours. 

Origin: India

Directions: Pour 8oz of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons of tea and steep for 3-4 minutes, or slow-simmer for 2-3 minutes. Strain and drink.  

Precaution: 
Should not be used for more than one week. 
Long-term use can cause damage.
Do not take or use with caution if you have inflammatory bowel disease, longer-term stomach pain, diarrhea, appendicitis, stomach inflammation, intestinal blockage, or hemorrhoids. 
May interact with various medications. 
Common side effects are stomach cramps, nausea, and diarrhea.
