Organic Kelp Powder (Ascophyllum Nodosum) - Kelp is a brown species of seaweed naturally grown along coastlines. Other types of seaweed include red and green species. “Among the different brown seaweed species, Ascophyllum nodosum and Fucus vesiculosus have the highest antioxidant values and highest total phenolic content.” (1) Kelp is said to be a great source of iodine, vitamins, and amino acids. Can also be used for weight loss. May help prevent or aid in the treatment of diabetes.
Daily serving size: 1/8 teaspoon (500 milligrams).
Directions: Can be used in drinks, foods, or encapsulated. Do not exceed the daily serving size. *Do not exceed the daily serving size. Please do not use it for more than 14 days consecutively without consulting a health practitioner. Overuse can lead to an increase in Iodine levels.*
