Headache Relief Tea - Ease away the discomfort and tension of headaches naturally with my specially crafted Headache Relief Tea. Provides a natural, gentle, and effective solution for reducing the frequency and intensity of headaches. This tea is useful for stress, tension, or sinus-related headaches.
Directions: Pour 8 oz of boiling water over 1 teaspoon OR 4-6 tablespoons per 1 quart of water. Cover and steep for 3-4 minutes. Drink 1 cup every two hours. Do not exceed 3 cups per day. Drink 1-2 cups daily for best results with chronic headaches. Gradually decrease usage once symptoms subside.
Ingredients: Organic Tanacetum parthenium, Organic Melissa officinalis, Organic Zingiber officinale, and Organic Lavandula x intermedia.
Precautions:
It may interact with sedatives and thyroid medications.
It may cause increased appetite, nausea, dizziness, and wheezing.
Avoid lemon balm if you have thyroid disease.
It may interact with other herbal sedatives such as Valerian, St. John's wort, Ginseng, and Chamomile.
Do not take it if you have a bleeding disorder or if you are taking blood-thinning medications, including aspirin.
People with allergies to chamomile, ragweed, or yarrow may be allergic to feverfew and should not take it.
Feverfew may increase the risk of bleeding, especially if you take blood-thinning medications, such as warfarin (Coumadin), clopidogrel (Plavix), or aspirin. Ask your doctor before taking feverfew if you take blood thinners.
