Dong Quai Root - Angelica sinensis - Traditionally used to support women's reproductive health and promote circulation, Dong Quai Root has gained popularity for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-hypertensive properties. Often referred to as the "female ginseng," it can be used as a spice, tonic, and for its medicinal benefits. Dong Quai is known to help relieve cramps, irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and menopausal symptoms.
Origin: China
Directions: Pour 8oz-12oz of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons. Steep for 5-10 minutes, strain, and drink.
Alternative: Simmer 1-2 teaspoons in water for 2-5 minutes, strain, and drink.
